TISC Summer & TISC Fall 2020
Join these conferences with an expected attendance of 1,500 people for spring and 1,100 for fall as one of the elite speakers! Provide your knowledge and expertise to the help build the movement of schools becoming trauma-informed.
The keynotes will deliver the general understanding of the impact trauma has on our students and the breakout sessions will be for the details of what "trauma-informed" looks like in action.
We invite submissions from experts on two different tracks:
1) administrative/school-wide policy and 2) trauma-informed techniques, strategies, and application. Pick a track and send us your proposal that will help answer the ultimate question of "What does this LOOK like?" including case examples, practical hands on tools, and school strategies. SPEAKER SELECTION TIMELINE
PROPOSAL GUIDELINES

Proposals must be submitted electronically no later than December 19, 2019 at midnight PST.

Each session is expected to be 75 minutes in length.
-
Up to two presenters may be listed for each session proposal.
-
You must provide your own laptop at the session.
-
Proposals will not be considered unless all the information requested is included.

Submissions will be selected based on originality, significance, quality, and clarity.

Selected speakers will not receive a presenter fee and will need to pay all their own travel expenses.

Lead presenters will receive FREE registration to the full conference. Co-presenters will be offered a discounted registration rate of $199. This is our way to say thank you for your contribution to this amazing event.

IMPORTANT: Before you begin entering your proposal, collect all of the necessary information listed below.
PLEASE PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Presentation title (60 characters)
2. Description of Presentation (120 words max.)
3. Three to four (3-4) measurable objectives
4. Presenter(s) biography (100 words max.)
5. Experience directly related to the content of the proposal (400 words max.)
6. Resume or Curriculum Vitae - PDF format only
7. School/Agency/Organization
8. Contact Information (cellphone and email)
9. Headshot of Yourself - JPG or PNG file only. (Preferably a professional photo but any nice photo will work.)
