BCI offers phone coaching to families needing more individual help in implementing the Beyond Consequences model into their homes. We will help you find the solutions to creating a peaceful and loving environment for you and your children, regardless of the intensity of the behaviors you may be experiencing.
BCI recognizes the demands of working and parenting, so we offer flexibility in times to schedule coaching calls. Late evenings and weekends are available, as well as daytime hours. If you are a two parent household, we strongly encourage both parents to be on the phone for the calls. Creating a strong parental base, where both parents are in unison with this parenting model is critical to not only the effectiveness of this service, but to the foundation of the entire family system.
Heather T. Forbes, LCSW is currently unavailable for phone coaching due to family demands and her lecture schedule. However, BCI offers phone a coaching with Moya Smith, MSW Intern, at an hourly rate and sessions can be broken down into increments of 15 minutes. Payment is made by credit card following each session.
Heather also recommends Rhonda Robinson, M.Ed., LPC, for phone coaching through Flatiron Counseling. Rhonda has trained directly with Heather. You can find out more information and how to schedule phone coaching time with Rhonda here.
In order to best serve you, Heather and Moya ask that you complete a family evaluation. Having this information from the start will help them to jump into the issues at hand and explore your family dynamics at an even deeper level from the very beginning. Heather and Moya recognize the financial commitment associated with phone coaching and are committed to using this time with you in the most efficient and effective way possible.

Moya Smith, MSW
|

Moya Smith, MSW has been a BCI phone coach since June 2010. She is a Beyond Consequences Certified
Instructor who studied under Heather T. Forbes, LCSW, for nine months as an intern for her Masters of
Social Work. Moya also completed a nine month internship with a Colorado agency that does intensive
in home work with kids with behavioral challenges, working with the whole family using the Beyond
Consequences paradigm and the work of Dr. Bruce Perry. She has participated in three live Every Day is
Mother's Day weekend conferences and has attended several BCI Live events. Moya previously worked
with an international adoption agency doing post placement visits and co-facilitating a one day pre-
adoption course for parents. Her real experience, however, comes from her most important position-
as the mother of four children, including two adopted from China. Her passion for her work comes from
living the Beyond Consequences paradigm and seeing the difference it can make.

Rhonda Robinson, M.Ed., LPC
|
|
|
|
|
Rhonda Robinson has over 18 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Rhonda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 1991. Rhonda completed her Masters degree in Counseling at the University of North Texas in 1995. Rhonda is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has extensive experience working with children from 18 months through 18 years of age in outpatient, home-based, school-based, and day treatment environments. Rhonda is a certified Beyond Consequences Instructor and is very passionate about teaching others the Beyond Consequences love-based approach to relationships.
