I am so excited about this upcoming Mom’s Conference and I hope you’ll consider joining me, along with moms from around the nation and the world. My desire and passion to provide a weekend for mothers began as a spark a couple of years ago but ignited into a full-grown forest fire last April 2008. Just after returning from my first Mom’s Retreat I had put on in Arizona, I learned that my own mother had suddenly passed away. She literally died the day after this retreat. There was a message in this for me. My mom was only 73 years old and came from a family line of relatives who lived well into their 90’s. Her mother, my grandmother, lived to be 98 years old! I believe what ultimately cut my mom short of her the final years was emotional pain. She never found her way out of many of the difficult life events she had endured. I’m no medical examiner, but it wasn’t a heart attack, it was a broken heart that ended her life. Life will always present to us challenges, pain, and difficulties. These life events are meant to be growing experiences and times of incredible positive change within us. Unfortunately, as in the case with my mom, they became all too overwhelming for her. When we don’t have the right tools, aren’t asking the right questions, and don’t have support around us, we easily slip into a place of perpetual darkness. Parenting, especially parenting children with difficult behaviors, has the ability to move us into this place quicker than any other “job” on this planet. It doesn’t have to be this way! There is ALWAYS a way to emotional freedom. Joy is always within reach, sometimes it is literally just 2 mm away and we don’t even realize it. Fear puts us in a place where we can only see problems, no solutions. My passion and mission is to provide an environment with the tools, understanding, and empowerment for all moms to come together to make radical and transforming changes and to claim happiness, peace, harmony, and joy. It is exceptionally difficult to do this on our own…it takes the synergy of human relationships and the energy of gathering together to make it happen. So, in honor of my mom, I promise to make this Mom’s Conference an amazing healing, rejuvenating, and inspiring weekend! I want you to be a part of this event. You’re not alone in your journey, so I hope you’ll find a way to make this event happen for you. Be sure to watch the video testimonies of the women who attended previous retreats. They volunteered to share their stories to help you make a life-changing decision to attend this event and to give you the hope you deserve. Registration is quick and easy. Just click here. See you soon! Press on, Heather
